All types of UK Lanyards from CMB ID Solutions.
Lanyards are very popular, if you walk around shops at lunch time you’ll see many people wearing such an items during their lunch break. This is because companies, organisations, schools, colleges require staff to be identified. In some cases the ID pass also acts as a way to enter the building and move around departments, this is called Access Control.
What is a lanyard?
Lanyard Printing
Printed lanyards or lanyard printing whichever way you wish to say it, means lanyards that are printed with your company branding. Sounds simple, but there are many ways to print.Silk Screen Printing – is still the most popular method normally printed onto polyester or nylon material. You can print 1 – 4 spot colours and match any PMS colour for your corporate branding. It’s quite an inexpensive method, the printer will line-up metres of material and print 8 at the same time.
Digital Printing – is quite a new technology and is used for short run and express lanyards. It acts very much like your office ink jet printer, using CMYK to print the colours. Unlike screen printing the image will continuously loop around the material hence no starting position.
Dye Sublimation – which the process starts with a full colour image printed onto a coated heat-resistant transfer paper as a reverse image of the final design, which is then transferred onto white smooth polyester fabric in a heat press operating at a temperature around 210 C. This process is perfect for full colour, complex artwork designs or were a design has thin text.
Jacquard Weaving – is for woven lanyards, weaving your logo or message woven into the lanyard. This is totally bespoke, as it is an integral part of the fabric and looks fantastic. With the use of threads, the message or logo is woven into the lanyard with polyester twill fabric which are highly durable.
Accessories for Personalised Lanyards
When we make a lanyard to order, we can alter the material, such as length or type of material, add more safety breaks like the NHS lanyards that has three breaks. Change the type of clip

Detachable Buckle – Allows you to remove the bottom part of the lanyard, while still wearing the larger loop.

Detachable Buckle with Cord Attachment – Fitted at the end of the lanyard, allows you to take the attachment with the cord loop off the main lanyard to access things.

Metal Crimp – This is also referred to as metal ferrule. It’s another method to connect the material together rather than stitching.

Safety Break – Every lanyard should have a safety break, it means if the lanyard gets caught then the safety break will open.

Double Clip – Becoming very popular, means the clips can attach to each side of the lanyard card holder to stop it from twisting around..
